Crossroads Church

Crossroads Church is a new United Methodist church in the Fayetteville/Hope Mills area. Our weekly worship experience is on Sunday, 10:15 a.m. at "The Mill," 3910 Ellison St. in Hope Mills beside the YMCA. This week's experience will tackle the question surrounding "trials and tragedies" in our lives in the third week of our message series "2010..the end is coming." Additionally, this week we are collecting supplies for health kits that will be shipped to Haiti. A health kit contains specific items: hand towel, wash cloth, comb (large and sturdy, not pocket-sized), nail file or fingernail clippers (no emery boards or toenail clippers), bath-size bar of soap, toothbrush (single brush only in original wrapper, no child-sized brushes); $1 for toothpaste and six adhesive plastic strip sterile bandages.

All items should be placed inside a sealed gallon-sized plastic bag. No other items should be included in the health kit. We are going to put these kits together Thursday at 8 p.m. at "The Mill." Anyone is welcome to join us in collecting supplies and putting the kits together. Contact us at 366-3869; info@connect2crossroads; www.wedesiremore.com for more information.
